About Chawton House
Elizabethan manor house and library of early women's writing on the edge of Chawton, a mile or so south-west of Alton. It hires its wood-panelled rooms, Great Hall and grounds for corporate away days, private dining and receptions as well as weddings. A characterful choice for a small leadership day or a client dinner rather than a large conference; capacities are given on enquiry.
