The system

One system.
Run region by region.

Business Event Stack is a single platform for business networking. Each region runs it as its own, with its own name, domain, colours, lists, policies and team, while the tools underneath, for organisers, venues and attendees, are shared and kept in step everywhere.

A networking event in a busy room
Regions

A region is a whole platform, not a filter.

When a region joins, it gets a complete instance of the system under its own identity. Visitors on the region’s domain see only that region. The network’s own calendar surfaces every region at once. One account works across all of them.

Its own identity

A name, a domain, colours, fonts and a logo. The connected mark is drawn from the region’s initial, so Hampshire is an H and Dorset a D, in their own colours.

Its own calendar, map and directory

Every published event in the region on a calendar, a map with near-me search, and a list. Organisers and venues each get a directory and their own pages.

Its own lists

Event categories, event types, venue types, amenities, industries. Each starts from the network’s templates and can be reworded, extended or hidden per region.

Its own legal documents

Terms, privacy and cookie policies adopted from network templates and edited in place, with versioned consent captured at sign-up.

Its own policies

Which features are switched on, who pays for what (organisers, venues, attendees or nobody), membership plans, feed access and pricing, and the platform fee on paid tickets.

Its own team

Owners and admins who moderate listings, manage members, read the reports and shape the region. Their reach stops at their region; the network team sees the whole.

A platform can also be built around one venue or one organiser rather than a geography, with the same tools pinned to that single entity.

One event, end to end

From a listing to a room full of people.

  1. 01

    An organiser lists an event

Series, dates, venue, price, capacity. From scratch, from a template, from a pasted link or a CSV.

  2. 02

    The region moderates it

It lands in the queue, gets a look, and is published to the region’s calendar, map and directory. The network’s global calendar picks it up too.

  3. 03

    Attendees find and book it

On the region’s site, on the network, in an embedded feed on the organiser’s own site, or in a subscribed calendar. A confirmation and a QR pass go out.

  4. 04

    The venue hosts it

If the room was hired through the system it is already on the venue’s schedule, clash-checked and paid.

  5. 05

    The door checks them in

Scan, tap, count. Walk-ins added on the spot.

  6. 06

    Everyone learns from it

The organiser’s report, the venue’s schedule, the region’s analytics and the attendee’s connections all update from the same record.

For organisers

Run the room, not the admin.

An organisation profile with a team behind it, and everything from the first listing to the last check-in in one place.

List an event

Events that are easy to run

Create an event once as a series with as many dates as you like, or start from a template you saved. Paste a link to an existing event page and the details are read in for you.

Bookings, waitlists and tickets

Set a capacity and bookings fill it, with a waitlist that promotes itself when a place opens. Sell tickets through Stripe, with the money landing in your own account and a small platform fee taken at source.

Gated events

Ask people to request a place, then approve or decline each one. Paid events can charge after approval, so the wrong people never pay for a seat they won’t get.

Check-in on the door

Every booking carries a signed QR pass. Scan it with a phone camera, tap to check people in, undo mistakes, add walk-ins, and watch the live count.

Emails in your words

Confirmations, reminders and approvals go out from the region, on brand, and you can reword them with placeholders for names, dates and venues.

Your calendar on your own site

Build a styled feed of your events, choose what it shows and how the detail page reads, and embed it on your website with one line. Feeds can be locked to your domain.

Shared events

One event can appear in many feeds. Partner organisers tick it into theirs with a cover note of their own.

Reports and exports

Attendance, bookings, check-in and revenue per event and over time, with CSV export and an idempotent CSV import for the rest of your calendar.

For venues

The rooms, and who’s in them.

Hotels, cafés, coworking spaces and conference suites get a page, a schedule and a way to take hire.

Add a venue

A venue page that works for you

Type, amenities, address and a map pin, plus every networking event that meets there. Claim a venue you control and the region’s team approves it.

Rooms and hire

List your rooms with capacity, layouts and rates. Organisers send hire enquiries; you confirm them into a bookings schedule that warns you about clashes and respects your block-outs.

Paid hire through Stripe

Confirmed hire can be paid online, straight to your account, with refunds handled from the same place if plans change.

The impact layer

Big venue events, from theatre nights to match days, sit on the calendar as context so organisers plan around parking and footfall instead of colliding with them.

A feed of your own

A venue-hire feed for your website that shows what’s on and takes enquiries without leaving your page.

For attendees

Find your people.

One account, every region. The next room is a search away, and the people you meet stay with you.

Find events

Find the room

Search by town, type, price and date, or hit “near me” and set a radius. Every event has a page with the time, place, price and organiser up front, and a one-tap add to your own calendar.

Book in seconds

One account works in every region. Book a place, request one for gated events, or buy a ticket and get your QR pass and receipt by email.

Connections

Opt in to be visible at an event, see who else is coming, and keep the people you meet. “For you” suggests events based on where you go and who you know.

Your calendar, kept in step

Subscribe to a region’s iCal feed and new events appear in Google, Apple or Outlook on their own.

Your data, your call

Export everything we hold about you in one click, or close your account and it is erased, subscriptions cancelled first.

For the team behind a region

Run a region as your own.

A back office for everything regional, and the network team keeping the system itself sharp underneath.

Talk to us about a region

Start in an afternoon

A setup wizard creates the region, its first admin and its domain. Point the domain at the network and it is registered, secured and live without a ticket to anyone.

Customisation

Logo, colours, fonts and icons. Everything recolours from two picks, dark surfaces and the mark included.

Features and lists

Switch features on as the region grows and edit every list in the back office. Nothing regional is hard-coded.

Moderation

New listings from organisers land in a queue. Approve, edit or decline; published events go out to the region and to the network.

Money, if you want it

Decide who pays: memberships for organisers, venues or attendees on the region’s own Stripe account, a platform fee on tickets, paid feeds. Or none of it.

Reports and activity

Base reports out of the box, a custom report builder over every data source, a daily digest email, and an activity log of everything that happens in the region.

Feeds and embeds

The calendar goes where the people are.

Any organiser, venue or region can build a feed: choose the scope, the tools it offers, how it looks and how each event’s detail page reads, then drop it into any website with an iframe or one script tag. Feeds can be locked to a domain, and regions decide who may create them and whether they carry a fee. The events on this very site are one of those feeds.
