About King John's House & Museum
A small heritage site opposite Romsey Abbey made up of a medieval house, a Tudor cottage and a Victorian shop, with a tea room and garden. Romsey Chamber of Commerce has used it for an early-morning Brew & Business networking breakfast. The museum is closed for restoration after a 2025 fire, but the café and garden are open.
- Paid parking
- Accessible loos
Finding the door
The café now runs from 13 Church Street (The Cafe at King John's House), opposite the Abbey; the café space is sometimes closed for private hire.
