About The Parsons Collar
A stone-floored pub with a garden next to the Solent Hotel on the edge of Whiteley, owned by the hotel and Thwaites. It serves Thwaites cask ales and a casual menu of pizza from its oven, burgers and sharing plates. Freelance Mum uses it as the base for its Southampton-area netwalk.
- Free parking
Finding the door
The netwalk meets at the pub: about an hour's walk outdoors, then drinks and chat inside, with optional co-working after. Ask the organiser for the exact meeting spot (car park or front door).
Parking
CAMRA lists free parking; OpenStreetMap shows customer car parks around the pub and the Solent Hotel. Space numbers and any time limit are not published.
