About The Pump House

A Victorian sewage pumping station of 1878 on Garnier Road, south of Winchester city centre, now a members' co-working space with bookable meeting rooms and day passes. In the evenings it is hired out for events with a licensed bar, holding up to 150 people. The Marketing Meetup holds its Winchester evenings here.

Evening hire runs from 6pm. Co-working hours are Monday to Friday, 7am to 6pm.

Parking

The venue's own car park is small and permit-only on weekdays. For evening events it suggests nearby streets, unrestricted after 6pm; in the day on-street parking is free but limited to 2 or 4 hours. St Catherine's Park & Ride is a short walk (max £3.50 a day).

Getting here

On Garnier Road between St Cross and the Itchen, near M3 junction 10. Bluestar 1 (Southampton–Chandler's Ford–Winchester) stops on Kingsgate Road, about 6 minutes' walk. Winchester station is about 30 minutes' walk. The East Winchester (St Catherine's) Park & Ride is a short walk away.
