About The Ropemaker

A Heartwood Inns pub with 43 bedrooms on the Havant Road at the western edge of Emsworth. It offers a restaurant for up to 120 standing, a snug, a conservatory and heated beach huts in the garden for meetings, plus breakfast from 7am on weekdays. The Big Networking Extravaganza is launching an Emsworth networking morning here on 12 November 2026.

Finding the door

Register your car at the front desk or bar. Meeting spaces: the Restaurant (60-80 seated, 60-120 standing, bookable Mon-Thu), the Snug, the conservatory and garden beach huts.

Parking

On-site car park for about 50 cars, first come first served, no reservations. Free for up to 5 hours for pub and restaurant guests. Register your number plate at the front desk or bar on arrival or a Parking Charge Notice may be issued.

Stagecoach Coastliner 700 stops at Emsworth Nore Farm Avenue and Selangor Avenue on the Havant Road, 1-2 minutes' walk. Warblington station is about 17 minutes' walk and Emsworth station about 19 minutes (estimates).
