The Spark is Solent University's main teaching building, on the city-centre campus beside East Park. Hampshire Chamber of Commerce held its SOGROW summit for about 200 business leaders here in October 2025, and its 'Chamber Connects!' morning networking has also visited the university.

Very little parking on campus. East Park Terrace campus car parks run a RingGo pay-to-park scheme for non-permit holders, 08:30 (car parks C, D, F) or 10:00 (car park B) to midnight on weekdays and all day at weekends; spaces are first come first served. Car Park E is permit only. Blue Badge holders should email the university for permit guidance. Council car parks at Six Dials and Trinity Road are about 4 minutes away. Sat nav: SO14 0YN.

Getting here

A 10–15 minute walk from Southampton Central: from platform 1 turn right (from platform 4 turn left), walk up towards the Civic Centre clock tower, then follow Civic Centre Road and New Road. The Unilink U6 stops right outside The Spark; more buses stop on Above Bar Street. East Park Terrace has been closed to through traffic since September 2023.
