About Thorngate Halls (gosport Community Association)

Gosport's member-run community centre, combining the Georgian Bury House with the purpose-built Thorngate Halls, has a main hall for up to 300 (220 cabaret), a 150-200 seat theatre and several meeting rooms. The Music Room (up to 50) and the first-floor White Room (50) are offered for conferences and business meetings, with smaller rooms for 10-30. Licensed bars, an on-site caterer and self-catering options make it suitable for larger networking events, AGMs and training.

Buses 5, 9 and E2 stop at Alverstoke War Memorial Hospital beside the centre; E1, SD5 and 11 in Bury Road. Gosport Ferry to Portsmouth Harbour station is about 2.5 km east. Fareham is the nearest station by land.
