Bookings and waitlists
Taking bookings is part of listing an event. Set how many places there are, and the system keeps count, opens a waitlist when you are full and hands on a place as soon as one opens up.
What you can do
Set a capacity and bookings fill it. When it is full, a waitlist takes over and promotes people on its own.
- Set a capacity, or leave it open
- Change the capacity for a single date in a series
- Show a real “going” count on the event page
- Open a waitlist automatically when the event is full
- Promote the next person when a place opens, and send their pass
- Close booking once the event has started
How it works
Bookings and waitlists, step by step.
- Step 1
Set a capacity
Add the number of places when you list the event.
- Step 2
People book
Each booking gets a confirmation email, a calendar file and a QR pass, and you are notified.
- Step 3
The waitlist runs itself
When someone cancels, the next person on the waitlist gets the place and is told.
